A free service that sends U.S. travelers security, weather and emergency updates from relevant embassies.

UK Electronic Travel Authorisation
Link directly to the official UK government page. The UK ETA is now required for many travelers who previously visited without a visa, including eligible U.S. passport holders.

Useful for estimating exchange rates, but identify it as a convenience tool and explain that actual credit-card, bank and merchant conversion rates may differ.

ETIAS ( European Travel Information and Authorisation System)
As of September 29, 2026, travelers are still being told that no action is required until the European Union announces the official opening.
Websites currently claiming to process ETIAS applications may be fraudulent. ETIAS is currently not in operation and no applications for travel authorisations are collected at this point.
The European Union will inform about the specific date for the start of ETIAS several months prior to its launch. Use only the official European Union website once the system opens.
